Developing a design that reflects your law firm's image

At FindLaw, we have developed thousands of FirmSites, but no two are alike for the simple reason that no two law firms are precisely alike. Each law firm has its own brand image (or personality).

To help us design a custom site that reflects your law firm's marketing image, our designers have selected examples of six different design approaches. Each approach uses the colors, design elements, photos, and other imagery that best reflect your law firm. Choose a design approach (or a combination of approaches) that seems to best illustrate the image you want to project to prospective clients. The design approaches we recommend are:

  • Legal:  Primarily uses legal imagery

  • Firm Focused:  Focuses on images of the attorneys' offices and the firm's history

  • Practice Focused:  Uses images that illustrate the practice areas

  • Geographic Focused:  Focuses on the geography that defines where the firm practices

  • People Focused:  Uses pictures of people to show how the firm's practice affects its clients

  • High Concept:  Uses metaphoric art (usually a single image) to convey a marketing concept

Each of these six design approaches is divided into three tones: subtle, aggressive, and balanced.

As you talk with your designer, refer to these design approaches to make sure we understand what would best meet your marketing needs and goals.
